The Sunday morning cacao ceremony uses pure ceremonial-grade cacao, which contains naturally occurring theobromine and caffeine. If you have heart conditions, take MAOI antidepressants, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or are sensitive to stimulants, please notify our team in advance and consult your doctor. Participation is optional.
Cold-water exposure can trigger cardiovascular and respiratory responses. The cold plunge is entirely optional and limited to brief exposures. Anyone with cardiovascular conditions, Raynaud's, or who has recently consumed alcohol should not participate.

By attending Breakthrough in the Desert, you acknowledge that physical activities carry inherent risk and you accept full responsibility for your participation. You release The Fit Father Project, The Fit Mother Project, the faculty, the venue, and their employees and agents from any liability arising from your participation, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Arizona Grand Resort has on-site medical support. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 10 minutes away. Major hospitals are within 15 minutes. Our team will provide emergency contact information at registration.
